Jackie came over last night for a swim with Jeff and I. Man, she swim like a pro!
She and Jeff raced accross and she beat him the first time.

I'm on the hunt for a new job. I hate the fact that it's not busy at all and the leads are suffering here. I've called so many but none has returned my calls. It's not very satisfying to have a job and to get no result.
Today, I will handing out resumes to get another job.

I just wanted to congratulate a very special couple on their engagement!!!

Happy Birthday Alfa!
Today after we went shopping for Mango's food, we went to Alfa's house to celebrate her birthday. Played poker and showed some people Mango's new tricks. :)
So glad we got to celebrate her birthday. We haven't missed her birthday yet.

Lola Dely passed away yesterday from a massive stroke at 3 AM. She lived with her husband in Etobicoke by Humber College. Just a few weeks ago, we saw her at my dad's birthday. She was always cheerful and also has some corky comments. I still can't believe that she has passed but I know she's gone to a better place. I know it's hard to let go of a family member but I know I'd always wish that it was someone else or not today. We love you lola. I know you were happy in your life, we are sad to know that you're are gone from the physical state but we are happy that you have gone to heaven.

4 O'clock Countdown

Every day at 4 PM, I find myself dozing off or just not doing any work related stuff.
I get so bored just sitting here, looking for things to do or looking at other websites.
The countdown begins every 4 o’clock. Why can’t the day be from 10 – 4?
For the clients I’ve spoken to over the years, they’re brains are even functioning until 10 am and stops at 4. I really can’t imagine people working at 4 to 5 pm .

I’m sure 80% of the people here are the same. Some just occasionally walk around to look like they’re actually working but meanwhile, they’re probably outside smoking or talking to other people.

Man, I need to find something to distract myself. Maybe some knitting, reading or sleeping under my desk. I can also pull a George Kastanza!!!

Last night, Mic and I decided to meet up and walk to Harbour Front to the Luminato. It’ll be my first time ever walking down there and seeing Harbour Front.
Yeah – I know!! I’ve live in here for so long and I haven’t seen Harbour Front.
We met up with Aaron on the way there.
As we walk, everyone was stopping me to see Mango. He was such a celebrity. He got so much attention from so many strangers and other dogs. Now I know how everyone else feels when they have a pet. I felt like a robot saying the same thing over and over again.

What’s his name? Mango
How old? 11 Weeks
What kind of dog is he? Sheltie

It was fun though. I could see how other people are so thrilled to see such a cute little puppy. Even though it’s not recommend to take him out at a young age.. this is what I say to that. The dogs in the Philippines dog don’t’ get any medical attention, vaccines and exposed on their first day and they live just as long as the dogs here.

Mango eats and lives better that Jeff and I.
He gets fed 3 times a day, goes for walks, gets plenty of play time and doesn’t have a job. Man, I wish I could be a dog.

We walked back, drove Aaron home and Mic came over. The boys were over playing poker and til 3 am. I drove her home and hardly had slept after.

I've decided that I'll be quitting my job.
I really to focus on what I need to do in life. I can't really wait around to see if something will happen in my life if I'm just sitting here. I'll just wait for my boss to get back to NYC.
