I felt like a horse ready to jump out of the gate as soon as it hit 4 PM. I still had to buy the prizes for the games, decorate the hall and get ready. It was so stressful and frustrating when there isn’t enough time to do anything. My cusshy, her hubby and Chloe made is for the surprise, Mic, John and Tita came after and Mary was in time for dinner. My dad was totally shocked to see that the party was actually for him. He walked straight in the room, dumbfounded and speechless. I think he knew but was really shocked to see everyone who made it. For some odd reason, I ended up being the emcee. My uncle was asking for the program and all I could do was shrug my shoulders. If I couldn’t even put a seating arrangement together then, there’s no way I can put a program. As the night went along, I just started to put things together in my head. Overall, it turned out well. Krizalyne sang first, then Mia played the piano. I called out for volunteers for any couples that would like to play the news paper game. My sister and cousin were all cheating and holding on to each other. The highlight of the night was the Treasure Hunt game. My cousins, aunts and uncles were so competitive. When the items were being called, things were also getting to tossed and people were pushing each other.
The night ended with everyone singing happy birthday and the centre piece game. (Well, half the centre piece. Most if not all the Hersey kisses were eaten) Can’t wait to organize my mom’s 65th Birthday!
